How to play Dominoes

Take a moment with Dominoes before moving to another game. Empty your hand, or hold fewer pips when both players are blocked. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Double-six draw dominoes, local two players with shared-screen visible hands.

Notice the feedback

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Empty your hand, or hold fewer pips when both players are blocked. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Follow this game’s rules rather than another version’s.

Step by step

  1. Play a tile matching either open chain end.
  2. Choose which end to use.
  3. Draw only when no tile fits.
  4. Pass only with no legal tile and an empty stock.

Controls

Click or tap a piece and destination; use the turn indicator and legal-move feedback. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

An open 4 accepts 4–2, leaving 2 open. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Look for the relevant detail.

Watch out for this

You cannot ignore a legal match to draw. Check the rule before repeating the action. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
